The contact with the soul: Building Our Spiritual Strength

The soul is the core of the human being which, beyond personality, temperament and ego, connects us with the life of the spirit.

It is the soul that, like a mirror, absorbs and reflects the impulses of light projected from higher dimensions, impelling human consciousness to take new evolutionary steps and to manifest the spiritual attributes that God deposited within its essence.

Saint Joseph observed in His Message of April 1, 2020, that the mind will always fall into sin, and human feelings will always be fragile. Therefore, our souls must gain space in our consciousness, to calm the frailties of the more material bodies.

Therefore, to maintain constancy on our path of ascension, it is essential that we cultivate contact with our souls.

For this reason, Christ Jesus affirms that the connection with the soul will be the unbreakable strength to overcome the trials of these times.

The trajectory of the soul

Saint Joseph revealed, in His Message of July 16, 2019, that when the Creator thinks about the manifestation of a soul, He writes its entire trajectory, from the creation of its essence out of a particle of the Divine Essence to its return to the Primordial Source.

The Chaste Heart said that the Heavenly Father lovingly designs the steps of His children, placing along their paths all the learning they need to grow, evolve and return to His Heart.

Thus, the celestial alignment that is formed at the birth of a being is what is needed to fulfill the Divine Will. The Father draws in the stars the impulses of light that this soul will receive and, at the moment of its birth, clothes it with the precise circumstances for its evolution.

The awakening of the soul

But when does the soul begin its awakening? Saint Joseph clarified, in His Message of April 10, 2016, that this awakening begins when the heart opens to discover the truth about itself.

Therefore, when a path to redemption is presented to us, the Chaste Heart says that we should not fear, but rather know that we will never be the same from the moment we say yes to this call from God.

Our Spiritual Father reinforces:

I tell you that this planet is a school of definition because it is through your experiences in this world that you will dictate the course of your own evolution. Children, you have here the greatest opportunity for loving in the entire Cosmos, but you also have all the abysses in which to sink your own spirit. Because just as the intensity of the Light is, so it is also the intensity of the darkness. And in a very mysterious way for the human mind, a great divine Project is being designed here.

Prayer of the heart as a tool

The Virgin Mary announced from the beginning that prayer of the heart is the greatest tool to elevate our souls to Heaven.

This happens because the heart is the seat of the soul. Therefore, when we pray with our hearts, we are deepening our contact with our souls and activating their resources.

Our Lady instructs:

Through prayer the sacred condition is created of knowing the most profound of each being and of discovering, on this path, the divine reality that lives in each soul …

According to the Most Holy Virgin*, the soul develops the following virtues through the prayer of the heart:

• frees itself from its own pain and provides relief to his brothers and sisters;
• strengthens its faith;
• knows no boundaries, but crosses bridges of love and unity;
• finds peace;
• loses all fear;
• surrenders itself to God and His Infinite Love;
• transcends error;
• finds reconciliation;
• unites with the angels of Heaven;
• does not lose hope;
• at some point, encounters Christ;
• manages to see Christ in others;
• loses nothing;
• is led by the Spirit of God;
• lives the promise of the New Kingdom;
• works with a living heart for peace;
• understands everything;
• knows the Holy Spirit.

The first souls to achieve happiness

Christ Jesus proclaimed, in His Message of March 17, 2020, that serving souls are the first to achieve spiritual happiness.

He assured us that these souls not only cease to feel the lack of love from the other, but are also abundantly filled with the Love of God.

It is when a soul works for Me from the heart and without obligation that it achieves extremely high degrees of love through their service.

The Master also observed that, through selfless service, the soul frees itself from any errors or faults it may have committed.

Therefore, Our Lord says that when we feel  unwell or feel that something is lacking within, we must serve with all the strength of our heart. In this way, our being will expand in proportion to the love that we have given in each new service.

On the other hand, the Redeemer advises souls who complain too much or who manifest many needs to seek liberation from themselves through surrender and selfless giving.

The strengthening of the soul

Saint Joseph elucidated the process that the soul experiences in these times in His Message of September 9, 2015.

According to Him, when the soul awakens, the personality begins to feel an imperative need to discover what is beyond material life. Thus, the soul launches the three-dimensional bodies on a higher search.

If the soul prays from the heart, it creates the conditions for the spirit to approach, allowing universal laws to permeate matter and guide the events of life.

Our beloved Instructor goes on to explain that as we grow in spirit, the soul constantly struggles with the human aspects that remain deeply rooted in the tendencies of planetary material life.

Therefore, at the same time that we aspire to surrender ourselves to the Divine Will and its mysteries, another part of our being feels doubt and resistance.

Saint Joseph completes:

It is when the spirit approaches matter that the soul is strengthened and its convictions become the truth that rules life. Doubts and questionings will not cease to exist because while you are in the world there will always be an aspect to be purified; an aspect that does not want to sacrifice itself and prefers to remain in the ordinary life of gratifications and worldly pleasures. But it will resemble an adult that lives like a child and complains, sometimes more, sometimes less, demanding attention for their will to be done.

Finally, Christ Jesus announced, in His Message of February 4, 2025, that the spirit is the most wonderful gift that God has given us in this Creation.

The Master of Love asked:

Allow your spirits to present themselves and work in this time. Make room for this, open the door for your souls so that the human temperament may no longer govern or rule you, as it happens to many, because the spirit in each being must only aspire to elevate itself to God and be in communion with Higher Laws so that, through your spirits, you may be mirrors of the Creator Father on Earth, just as the holy angels are mirrors of God in this universe and in other universes.

The inner world, a bridge of contact with the soul

In this time, the inner world waits for a conscious connection from creatures so that an inner contact that will surpass all limits and tests may be established.

The Virgin Mary emphasized, in Her Message of November 26, 2018, that we can find the sacred treasure that God has deposited in our souls by turning to our inner worlds.

Our Lady stated that the inner world of each being serves as a bridge of contact with higher levels of consciousness, as it is capable of recognizing and capturing the luminous impulses that come from the Creative Source.

For this reason, the inner world of each being can recover the principles or attributes that it lost due to the influences and tendencies of the material world.

The Heavenly Mother concludes:

In this way, the inner world can reintegrate a being who has lost the path of love and of light, and have them live a great change, which, if it is strong and radical, will cause them to transform their life forever.

The contemplative soul: a step further

As we have seen, connecting with the soul is a crucial step for human consciousness, without it there could be no evolution.

However, Saint Joseph emphasizes that the time has come for us to aspire to expand our consciousness even further. He spoke about this in His Message of April 26, 2024.

The Chaste Heart states that, to do so, we need to learn to separate the impulses that come from our own souls from those that come from the Celestial Kingdom and the Higher Universe of consciousness.

In other words, we do need to listen to our own soul, but we must not believe that all impulses for evolutionary life come from this single internal contact.

The Humble Servant of God explains that, beyond the dimension of the soul, there is a deeper and more silent state, more transparent and complete: contact with Superior Universes, where pure and simple unity reigns. We can reach it through contemplation.

Our Instructor gave brief instructions on how souls can enter into the exercise of contemplation:

When your consciousnesses enter into sincere prayer, and between one word and another, you are able to become silent, then you will be capable of hearing your own souls, feel them and perceive them in just the way they need you to perceive them. However, if you persist in that elevation, in praise and silence, in concentration and emptiness, without wanting anything for the self, only a unity with God, you will be able to go beyond and allow your souls to also be able to look upward and inward, to also be able to enter into the practice of contemplation.

When souls contemplate, minds become silent and simply observe; the personality does not give an opinion, does not analyze, and does not look for answers, it just observes; the aspects of the human consciousness do not confuse inner contact with what they experience in matter, they simply observe; the soul does not seek to guide and lead anything, it is not treading any path, is only being drawn like a magnet to its source of vibration.

It is attracted by the Divine Consciousness, and with the yielding of its planetary part, it simply goes into the experience of unity, and in that experience, children, there can be full silence, you do not need words nor intentions, thoughts or actions: just being.

Saint Joseph declared that we must walk towards this contemplative experience because, in this time of chaos and confusion, of deep purifications and challenges, we need to enter safe Universes, where no aspect of our being can interfere.

He concludes by informing us that the unity experienced by the soul during the contemplative state brings us closer to the essence of wisdom, which will strengthen us and bring us intuitive answers to the deepest questions.

May we always use prayer of  the heart and selfless service to strengthen contact with our souls, knowing that this inner nucleus is only fulfilled and elevated where selfless love exists.
