20th Youth Festival for Peace: on-site edition in Figueira

The Youth Campaign for Peace will hold the 20th Youth Festival for Peace on September 30th and October 1st (Saturday and Sunday). The event will be held again at the Light-Community of Figueira, in Carmo da Cachoeira, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

The Festival is aimed at young people and adults from 18 to 35 years old. Minors under 18 can participate, but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The program will feature various activities in the midst of nature, such as workshops, service actions, moments of prayer and musical performances.

Places are free and limited.

To participate, it is necessary to fill out the registration form
 

Young peacemakers

This edition’s attribute is "Towards the Peaceful Heart" The inspiration for the theme came from the Message of the Virgin Mary on July 29, 2023, in which She explains what it means to be a young peacemaker and invites the new generations to embrace this mission.

Thus, following the impulses of the Divine Mother, both the programming and the choice of location for the Festival have the purpose of impelling the youth to cultivate the spirit of Peace in their lives.

Live broadcast

In addition to the on-site activities, this edition will feature a live broadcast on the 30th, at 7:30 pm, on the YouTube channel of the Youth Campaign for Peace and on the website of Misericordia María TV.

September 30th (Saturday)

  • 9 am | Getting to know the hosting area
  • 11 am | Opening Attunement
  • 2 pm to 4:30 pm | Workshops
  • 7:30 pm | Live broadcast - Public event

October 1st (Sunday)

  • 9 am to 11 am | Meeting with the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Missions (FIHM)
  • 12 pm | Closing Attunement and Communion
